My mom met me in the city today to go shopping. The only thing is that it's been a while so, my endurance is pretty low. This is me in a dressing room after I "shopped til' dropped."

Claire, Lily, and I went and cashed in on our winnings (from winning the Amazing SF Scavenger Hunt) at the Make Out Room for a comedy show. I should have been wary after the guy at the door was utterly dumbfounded that we had actually "won" tickets to this show.  There was actually a heckler...

We had such a fun day/night. My mom and I went to see War Horse for our birthdays and then went out to dinner in North Beach. And the best part, Abel (not pictured here) somehow hooked us up with a limo instead of a cab for the ride back to the bus station!

Abel ran a little race around Lake Merced today. 4.5 miles in 31 minutes. Pretty fast.

I tried a new way home from work tonight and everything was going great...until I got lost. But, I found this awesome waterfall in Golden Gate Park! That place is just a treasure chest!

My BFF Chelsea sent me this book because she thought it was so funny. I read it in one sitting. Careful for anyone who is thinking about reading it because I lol-ed quite a few times on a crowded plane. Also, I really wish me and Mindy were friends.

This is what I'm talking about. I didn't keep count but I estimate that I ate approximately 2 dozen crabs over two nights...I only get them once a year!

We flew into Delaware today to celebrate with my Poppop for his big 75. This is a picture of my Uncle Jack dazzling us with a lesson on how to make the perfect "peanut butter crackers." Apparently, they are a very important part of his lunch and my Aunt Nancy has been skimping on the protocol. There is a certain way that he likes the Saltines arranged and there needs to be enough peanut butter so that it squeezes out of the little holes on the top. Who knew?

I went to see Humor Abuse for the second time with Abel and his Uncle Greg. This is one of the best plays that I have ever seen!

We had our 5th book club meeting today at the Lafayette Resevoir. While the blog was on hiatus we welcomed our 4th member: Claire! Reading rocks!

I had a great birthday week culminating with an excellent birthday dinner at Cotogna with Abel and my parents. Thank you to everyone who made me feel special this week!
